Master Physics (Version 2026)

• You will find the Master’s in Physics curriculum (2026 version) here as soon as it has been published by the University of Vienna in the University Bulletin.

• The provisional Equivalence Regulation shows you which courses of the ‘new’ Master’s in Physics programme must be completed to fulfil the requirements of the ‘old’ Master’s in Physics programme.

It is currently under review by the Office of the Studienpräses. The final version will be linked here as soon as it has been published in the University Gazette of the University of Vienna.

To ensure the table displays correctly and to be able to use the fill function (where possible), please use Microsoft 365 Excel.
Unused cells may be left blank. Please do not clear any rows to avoid calculation errors!

Information session and advice services

SPL 26 is organising an information session on the new curricula on 19 June 2026 at 2.00 pm in the Lise Meitner Lecture Hall.
