Completion of Studies

The following documents (except for the record of examinations) must be submitted to the SSC Physics 2 weeks in advance of the master's examination:

1. complete record of examinations along with the latest transcript of records (U:SPACE) (please send it to us via e-mail; for numbers use comma (,) instead of period (.); at least 3 weeks in advance of the master's examination)
2. printout of "Survey at study-related stays abroad" (UHSTAT) - fill out the form and submit it, even if you did not go on ERASMUS or Non-EU Student Exchange!
3. master's thesis
   
4. confirmation of the positive evaluation of the master's thesis
   
5. registration form for the public defence

The master's examination is a public defence of the master's thesis including an examination on the scientific field of the master's thesis. Master's examinations are held on-site.

The public defence includes a 25-minute presentation of the thesis as well as questions from the examination committee.

After successful completion of the master's examination, the final documents are delivered via e-mail within four weeks. If you need them printed out, please let us know.
